The short version: DJ Golf does not collect anything. It has no account system and makes no network requests, with one exception: sending a support report, which happens only when you choose to and shows you the full contents first.
Location
DJ Golf uses your device’s location for one purpose: to measure how fast you are moving, so it can tell whether your cart is driving or stopped.
- Location is only requested while the app is running. DJ Golf never asks for background or “Always” location access.
- Each reading is used in the moment and discarded. It is never written to storage, never logged, and never transmitted anywhere.
- On Android the app runs a foreground service while a round is active so readings continue with the screen off. A notification is visible the whole time this is happening.
Your settings
Preferences such as speed units, sensitivity and delays are stored on your own device and nowhere else. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Your music
DJ Golf never plays audio itself. It pauses, resumes or changes the volume of whatever app is already playing. It can tell that something is playing, but not what it is.
Support reports
If you contact support from inside the app, your message travels with a diagnostic report: the app version, your settings, and what the app last did. The full report is shown on screen before you send it, an email address is optional and used only to reply, and nothing is sent unless you tap Send. Reports are delivered to us through Cloudflare and Amazon SES and are not shared with anyone else.
No analytics, no advertising
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third‑party tracking of any kind.
Children
DJ Golf collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
